Home watch is a scheduled visual observation of an unoccupied home. On every visit we walk your property along a routine built for it, checking for the conditions a Florida climate causes in an empty home: moisture, humidity, A/C trouble, pests, storm impact.
The goal is simple: a condition that becomes visible gets seen, photographed, and reported to you promptly, not discovered months later.
When you head north for the season, your home sits unoccupied for weeks or months. Avalon visits on a schedule you set, walks your property along a consistent routine, and sends you a written, photo-documented report after every visit. You see what we see, while you are away.

When a named storm threatens, we prepare your unoccupied home per a plan scoped in writing before the season: loose items secured, shutters where your building allows, a documented pre-storm walk.
Then, as soon as access is safely restored, we return, photograph everything, and send the report, so you know what happened to your home before your neighbors do.
Drawn from our extensive insurance experience, we go room by room and develop a list of common items to document. Every item lands on a list in your final report.

$80/hrVisits start at $75 for a residence with up to three water zones. Bathrooms count as zones, the kitchen and one laundry room are included at no charge, and each additional zone adds $15 per visit.
Visits are scheduled weekly (about every 7 days), three times a month (about every 10 days), every other week (about every 14 days), or monthly (one visit every 30 days). Interval matters more than most owners expect: some insurance policies can reduce or deny a water damage claim that went undetected or unreported for longer than 14 days.
